Pershore SC - Round Three 2014

Pershore Swimming Club snatched promotion to Division Two of the National Arena League in dramatic fashion at Stetchford Cascades Pool in Birmingham, edging out Midland rivals Orion by a single point.

Pershore went into the final round of the Division Three gala in second place, with Orion top of the league and favourites to secure the title and promotion.

Blythe Barracudas - Round Three 2014

Blythe Barracudas are Division 2 champions of the National Arena League West Midlands after a landslide win at the round 3 finals on Saturday night gaining the A team promotion to the Premier Division for next season.

Wyre Forest - Round Three 2014

Saturday night and Wyre Forest were off to Nuneaton for the Final of Division 2 of the National Arena League. It was an amazing night made extra special by our own GB swimmer, Amy Smith, who competed as a Forester once again.  All of team Forest were left in awe at her performances on the night and the swimmers have been greatly inspired. Wyre Forest finished in third place behind Blythe Barracudas and Wolverhampton to gain, much coveted, promotion to division 1 next year, along with fourth placed Mansfield.

Northgate Swimming Club - Round Two 2014

Northgate’s swimmers are on course for a comfortable finish in the National Arena League after finising fourth in the second round at Leamington Spa.

After winning their first round gala, the swimmers will now go into the final round next month knowing their place in division two is safe for the next season.

Dunstable - Round Two 2014

Dunstable Swimming Club got their 2nd leg of the National Arena League off to a fantastic start with a first place position in their West Midlands Three East Gala. Held at the Queens Leisure Centre in Derby on 8 November, DSC swimmers were very excited to be travelling as one squad by coach.

Bicester Bluefins - Round Two 2014

Bicester Blue Fins returned to Worcester for the second round gala in this year’s National Arena League Premier Division. Having won the first gala last month, the Bicester Village sponsored squad of 26 swimmers from age 10 to adult was pitted against the current league champions from Boldmere, as well as stiff opposition from the home Worcester team, Stourbridge, Long Eaton and Cannock.
