Teddington are London ‘A’ finalists two years running in National Arena Swim League.

Teddington are a small, up and coming London club coached by double Olympian Ed Sinclair. Under Ed's guidance Teddington have made club history by qualifying for the 'A' Final of London Division One for two years running. This year's final took place on Saturday at Basildon Sporting Village.

In the individual events Teddington secured three superb second places; Gina Heyn (27yrs) in the Ladies Open 100m breaststroke in a time of 1.14.30, Thalia Poaros (11yrs) in the Girls 10-11yrs 50m butterfly in a new best time of 33.48secs, and Tanya Ferguson (11yrs) in the girls 10-11yrs 50m freestyle in a new best time of 31.93secs.
Teddington also scooped three individual third places; James Stanhope (18yrs) in the Mens Open 100m butterfly in a time of 59.13secs, Hannah Rogers (19yrs) in the Ladies Open 100m freestyle in a time of 59.42secs, and Thalia Poaros in the girls 10-11yrs 50m breaststroke in a time of 43.38secs.

There was an outstanding relay performance from the 10-11year girl's 4 x 50m freestyle team who claimed victory ahead of Hatfield. The winning team were; Tanya Ferguson (11yrs), Katy Stocks (11yrs), Anna Smail (10yrs) and Thalia Poaros (11yrs) in a time of 2.08.95secs.

The Ladies Open 4 x 50m Medley relay team and Ladies Open 6 x 50m freestyle relay team have been in impressive form this league season each with two previous wins under their belts. They just missed out to Hatfield in two hard fought finals but came away with two strong second places. The Ladies Open Medley team were Clara Nutting (18yrs), Gina Heyn, Hannah Rogers and Molly Savill (17yrs), in a time of 2.02.46secs. The Ladies Open 6 x 50m freestyle relay squad were Hannah Rogers, Clara Nutting, Zoe Bozzard-Hill (16yrs), Natalie Redmayne (17yrs), Molly Saville and Gina Heyn taking the second spot in a time of 2.24.70secs.

There was fierce competition for every point. Teddington finished in 8th place overall with the final point standings as follow:
