The following changes to all of the leagues rules/conditions were approved at the National AGM last Sunday. These changes will be effective for this league year.

1. The athlete membership registration with the club for whom they wish to swim needs to be with the ASA membership department prior to 1st October in the year of competition. Those received by the ASA on or after 1st October will not comply and therefore the athlete will be unable to swim for that club in the year of competition, in the rounds or the final.


2. For an athlete to represent a club in the National Finals day they must have swum in at least one round of the heats for that club. The only exception to this being if the athlete was injured for the three months of the rounds (October, November and December) A medical certificate will be required.
